We started where the road meets the sea.
Gwadar sits on the Arabian Sea, under 100 kilometres from the Iranian border. It is one of the few places on earth where a deep-sea port and an international land corridor are close enough to work as one system. That is where Zyad Trading is based, and it is why we do what we do.
A trading company built around a route, not an office.
Zyad Trading was built on a simple observation. Goods were moving between Pakistan, Iran, Turkiye, Azerbaijan and China every day, but the businesses trying to move them were dealing with four or five separate parties who did not talk to each other. A supplier in one country. A forwarder in another. A clearing agent at the port. A bank that wanted documents nobody had prepared properly. Somewhere in the middle, a container sat still and cost money.
We put those pieces under one roof. We source the product, we arrange the payment structure, we move the cargo by road or by sea, we clear it through customs, and we deliver it. When something goes wrong, and in this trade something occasionally does, there is one company answerable for it.
Our head office is in Gwadar on Airport Road, next to the port and a short run from the Gabd border crossing into Iran. Our second office is in Gujranwala in Punjab, in the middle of Pakistan's manufacturing belt, where we source exports and distribute imports across the country. Between the two, we cover both ends of almost every shipment we handle.
Beyond Pakistan, we work through partner companies in Iran, China, Turkiye and Azerbaijan. These are not names on a website. They are the people who receive our trucks at the border, inspect goods at a factory before we pay for them, and pick up the phone when a shipment needs a decision made at three in the morning. That chain is the actual product we sell.
Our promise
“Moving Goods. Connecting Worlds.”
It is on our business card because it is the whole job. Goods that sit still are not trade. Our work is keeping them moving, and keeping the people at both ends connected.

Four things we will not compromise on.
Trading is a business of trust extended across borders, often before anyone has met. These are the habits that make that possible.
Straight Answers
If a route will not work, a price is unrealistic or a product is restricted, we say so before you spend money. A lost order costs less than a lost client.
One File, One Owner
Every shipment has a named person responsible from enquiry to delivery. You will not be handed between departments to chase your own cargo.
Costed Before Committed
You see the landed cost, not the goods price. Duty, freight, clearance and charges are laid out in writing before the order is placed.
Built on Partnership
Our network in Iran, China, Turkiye and Azerbaijan is built on long relationships. That is what turns a border into a route.
Make cross-border trade something an ordinary business can actually do.
Importing and exporting should not require a decade of experience and a personal contact at every border. We take on the complexity so that a shop owner in Gujranwala and a factory buyer in Tabriz can both get what they need, at a price they understood before they committed.
- Transparent landed cost, every time
- One accountable partner from order to delivery
- Access for small businesses, not just large ones
A working trade chain from Kashgar to Istanbul, with Pakistan in the middle of it.
The corridor through Pakistan, Iran and Azerbaijan to Turkiye is one of the shortest overland links between Asia and Europe. As Gwadar grows and the Gabd crossing develops, that route becomes a genuine alternative to far longer sea journeys. We intend to be one of the companies that makes it ordinary.
- Stronger partnerships in all five corridor nations
- More Pakistani products reaching regional markets
- Shorter routes, lower cost, less carbon per tonne

A short conversation is usually enough to tell whether your product, your route and your budget line up. If they do not, we will say so.
